Each project is unique. Publishing a web site requires that both the client and the web designer do their part. The client will provide certain types of content such as text or images. The designer will write the code and set up the domain & hosting (if required). Normally this takes 3-6 weeks unless special circumstances dictate.

There are several types of costs associated with web design. They are: Project costs, Domain Name Service, Hosting and Advertising.

Project Costs
Each project is unique. The cost is directly related to the time required to create the web site. Any associated software costs will also be accounted for. An estimate will be drafted once the client and designer have agreed upon the layout and design. The project cost for a small business web site is normally between $600 and $1500. When special programming is required that cost is added into the estimate.

Domain Name Service
Each client will set up a domain name for their web site. This normally costs anywhere from $3-$10 per month and can be bundled with Hosting (see below). Taylored Web Solutions will provide assistance with this process but I do not actually provide the service itself.

Hosting
Hosting refers to the physical location of your web site. Normally it is set up with Domain Name Service as a package, other times it is set up with a different company. The scope of your web site will determine hosting. It normally costs $10-$25 per month per site. Large corporate sites or sites that require a large volume of traffic will require a dedicated server and a content managed web site. These costs vary and will be handled on a case by case basis. Advertising
Taylored Web Solutions will help you advertise using Google Adwords and YouTube. The costs are separate and will be billed on a case by case basis.
